Cork ‘LEDs’ the way for public lighting future - independent.ie

Cork County Council lighting the way for the #environment across the South West - 77,000 LED public light installations to be taking place across #countycork.

The project is part of a national roll out of LED lights which will lead to the saving of 22,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually when completed. It will also lead to the saving of €12m in energy and maintenance costs on an annual basis.
